About ICANS
The International College of Affective Neuroscience (ICANS) is an organization composed of, predominantly, but not exclusively, graduates and current International Master in Affective Neuroscience students, which aims are to promote the research and exchange of information in this field.
ICANS was created in 2007 by a few graduates from the Master in Affective Neuroscience who wanted to continue the experience of the Master while staying in touch with each other and keeping the connections with the organizers and lecturers, as well as current alumni and graduates of the Master.
Our aim is to serve as a networking tool for clinicians and researchers.
We intend to use this website as a communication tool in order to offer discussion forums about scientific topics (e.g., neuroimage, OCD, depression…) as well as updated information about:
- scientific discoveries regarding the field of affective neuroscience
- international conferences
- books, journals
- grants
- vacant research posts
- research collaborations
- etc.
If you want to join ICANS, just click on the link at the top “Join ICANS!”. You will be asked to download an application form. Please note that we do not charge any fees (we are a non-profit organisation) and that we will not send you third-party emails.
If you want to make a contribution to the website (i.e. information about a certain conference, a scientific article, etc.) please send an email to admin.icans@gmail.com
We look forward to have you in our scientific community!
With kind regards,
ICANS Board
